• CHIEF LUKE E. OKAFOR
The firm has a 7-member Board of Directors headed by Chief Luke Okafor. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in both London and Nigeria and also a Fellow of the British Institute of Management. He is also an alumnus of of the University of Manchester Business School and the International Institute of Management in Laussene Switzerland . Chief Okafor is a seasoned professional banker and served in First Bank of Nigeria Plc for 34 years culminating in Executive Directorship in July, 1990. He was subsequently reassigned to International Merchant Bank Plc [IMB] in December, 1990 and finally appointed as the Managing Director and Chief Executive of the United Bank for Africa Plc[UBA] in 1993 from where he retired in 1997. Chief Okafor is a past President/Chairman of Council of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria and having served from 1998/2000.
Chief Okafor attended various local and overseas courses and meetings and has presented papers on topical economic issues.
• CHIEF GODWIN ANYICHIE
Chief Anyichie is a banker of 34 years standing. He started his banking career in the industry with British Bank of West Africa Limited [now First Bank of Nigeria Plc] in 1966.
He rose through the ranks to senior management positions and retired from the bank as a Deputy General Manager in April, 1993. After the long spell in First Bank of Nigeria Plc, he took up an appointment as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer in Metropolitan Merchant Bank Plc.
He relinquished the position in February 2001 and he is currently the Executive Chairman of Funds and Investment Options Limited.
.CHIEF DAVID OGBODO LL.B. BL (HONS.)

Chief Ogbodo is a graduate of the University of Lagos and was subsequently called to the bar. He started his working career with the National Universities Commission (NUC) from where he moved to the Federal Ministry of Education and by dint of hardwork he was appointed to serve as a Special Assistant to the Honourable Minister of Education.
He later worked with Nigeria National Petroleum Company Plc and retired from that organisation in 2003 as a Group General Manager[Downstream Investment}. He attended many courses both locally and abroad during his working career. An astute businessman with investments in the Oil and Gas sector of the Nigeria's economy. He is the Chairman of Darico Holdings.
He is a member of the Governing Council of Federal Polytechnic, Auchi and also the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Enugu State University of Science and Technology [ESUT]. He is currently the Chairman of the board of Directors of ANAMCO Plc
.MR. SYLVESTER CHUKWUNONYELU CHINEKE

Mr.Sylvester Chineke studied Estate Management at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and graduated with a second class (Honours) Upper Degree, in 1975. He subsequently obtained an MBA degree from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology in 2000.
He commenced his career at Knight Frank, Kano as a youth corps member in 1975. He was subsequently retained after his national service in the organisation as a pupil supervisor.
From this position, Mr. Chineke rose to become the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of Knight Frank. He was appointed as Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers in 1987.
Mr. Chineke is also the current Chairman of the Enugu State Environmental Sanitation Authority. He is a Council member of the Enugu State University.
.MR. STEPHEN S. MAYAKI

Mr. Stephen Shaibu Mayaki, a Shell BP award winner, attended Loughborough University of Technology, UK where he obtained a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1975. He worked briefly with Shell BP before joining Knight Frank as a trainee Plant and Machinery valuer in 1977.
While on attachment to the parent company in London in 1978, he studied for and qualified as a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
Mr. Mayaki worked for the Leventis Group between 1982 and 1990 and was in private practice between 1990 and 1997 when he joined UACN Group. He is currently the Managing Director of UACN Property Development Company Plc.
• MRS. VICTORIA CHINWE OKAFOR
Mrs. Okafor started her career as a nurse; trained at St. Luke's Hospital ANUA, Uyo ; Brook General Hospital , South East London and the British Hospital for Mothers and Babies, Woolich, London . She qualified as a State Registered Nurse and Midwife of England and Wales . She has held many senior positions in various health institutions before retiring as the Matron of Royal Hospital Enugu in 1989.
She was appointed to the Board of Lead Merchant Bank in March, 1990 where she served for 5 years up to July 1995.
• MR. GABRIEL ILORI AKINYEMI ACS
Mr. Akinyemi is a Chartered Stockbroker of many years experience and also a holder of an MBA degree from the Edo State University , and he is also an English graduate of the University of Ibadan . He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Management.
He is the Chief Operating Officer of Valmon Securities Limited with over 10 years' hands-on experience at the executive level in the Capital Market. He started his career in Prudent Merchant Bank Ltd; Options Securities Ltd; also served as the pioneer GM of Kinley Securities Ltd before joining the firm and subsequent elevation to the Board in October, 2001
Mr. Akinyemi has attended various courses on Capital Market operations both locally and overseas, the latest being "Trading in Foreign Currencies/Indices" with Henyep Investment[ Europe ] Ltd London, United Kingdom.
MANAGEMENT
• CHIEF LUKE E. OKAFOR FCIB - EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN
Chief Okafor serves as the Executive Chairman of Valmon Securties Ltd and he coordinates the various activities of the company and ensures implementation of policies. He brings to bear his over 40 years experience in the financial sector on the organization.
• MR. GABRIEL ILORI AKINYEMI ACS - GM/CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Mr. Akinyemi is the General Manager/COO of Valmon and he is responsible for the day to day running of the organization. He is also involved in the marketing of various services and products of the firm. With over 15 years' experience in the Capital Market, he has been contributing a lot to the growth and development of the organization. He is also responsible for product development, formulation of policies and implementation of strategies for the firm.
• MR. CHUKWUMA JAMES UCHEAGWU ACA - HEAD, FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION
Chukwuma qualified as a Chartered Accountant in May 2000 and has since been elected as an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He started his Accounting career in 1992 as an Assistant Accountant in KGM Industries Limited. He later joined Micro Instruments as an Accountant in April 1994.
In 1998, he was appointed as Accountant by Ken Lewis Ltd, a position he held until April 2002 when he joined Valmon as Head of Finance and Administration.
Chukwuma has acquired hand-on experience in the use of computer to solve financial and management problems.
• MR. IKECHUKWU GODWIN NWAFOR ACS-HEAD, OPERATIONS

Mr. Nwafor is a graduate of Computer Science from the Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu. (1983) He also qualified as a Stockbroker in 1994. He is an Associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Management.(AMNIM) his working experience spans Summit Finanace Company Limited, ITIS Securities Limited from where he joined Valmon Securities Limited in 2006. He is well experienced in capital market operations.
